Poor baby! I totally feel for you!!

I have migrains as a regular monthly event just a day or two before my period starts.
I've learned the hard way that the thing to do is jump on them EARLY!
A migraine isn't like other kinds of pain that you can just tough your way past.
As soon as that dull aching feeling starts on one side of my head, two Excedrin Migrain gelcaps. (They go into the bloodsteam the fastest.)

Don't take the Excedrin on an empty stomach, though, or you might throw them right up again.
Avoid watching TV or reading or sitting in the sun, and do the Camille thing...put a cold washcloth or (better still) a gelpack from the freezer wrapped in a towel on your forehead, and go someplace dark and quiet until the meds take hold.

Good luck! I know when I get them, all I want to do is grind my forehead against a wall, and usually I have a pretty high pain threshold! :(
