I was in the emergency room just last month with the worst migraine I have ever had in my life.

Along with the intense head pain, I had slurred speech and my right arm and face were numb! The doctor was afraid I was having a mild stroke, so they did a MRI which came back ok.

I was diagnosed with Complex Migraines with symptoms which include the numbness, and speech interruptions.

This new kind of migraine, which I've never experienced before, varies greatly from the one-sided migraines I had throughout my 20's that included light sensitivity and nausea.

Honestly, there's nothing that can be done. I just try to head them off before they get too bad with Excedrine Migraine. I think Excedrine works better than the prescription drugs...at least for me. If the Excedrine doesn't work...it's laying in a dark room for hours on end.

Thank God I don't get them as frequently as I did in my 20's.

Maybe you should seek the help of a neurologist Abby...I feel for you.
