All roads lead to Naked Johnny...Scantily Clad Johnny...Booted Naked Johnny...Painted naked Johnny...with extensions! :lol

As to clothing design...
Emma, I am so there! I wish I could be a modern Edith Head, and design beautiful clothes for the movies and my own fabulous runway shows!

I am a good seamstress, and I love designing my own clothes, especially for special events like the R. Faire.
Have you done any of that?
What kind of clothes do you (all of you?) like?

I favor the natural fabric, tailored styles of the 40s and early 50s, when men and women wore hats and really form-fitting suits and gorgeous see-through blouses topped by fabulous little lined jackets.
I have a bunch of those vintage clothes, including some evening gowns that are to die for! Not too much call for that in rural Oregon, but maybe I'll get invited to a dance in Portland sometime that doesn't involve a throbbing house beat and Ex-ed out dancers/bumpers/attackers.

Shari,
You'd love our annual Oregon Country Fair, which is held way out in the country west of Eugene (toward the coast) in a thick stretch of woods.
It started 32 years ago as a Rennaissance Faire, and for most of that time it's been sort of a hippie pot fest, but now it is mostly just entertainment, attractions like a striped tent for belly dancers, musicians, all manner of games, crafts and the best food and drink that I've ever had at a fair.

What kinds of fun fairs, events do you guys have where you live?

*ready to take notes*
