Yes, that's it exactly, Mali. That was the quality I was trying to project with Curt. I'm so glad that it's coming across that way because that *is* how I see him. Right now, it's hard not to let him take over the story. He's the one doing all the emotional work here. But Brian's turn is next. I only hope I'm half as successful in bringing his pain to life. In the movie, his pain was implied in more subtle ways, like the tear at the end of Bitter-Sweet. But you know me, I'm going to take that and run with it. Wish me luck.

Oh, and good luck on your first day! We'll undoubtedly miss each other because now you're a day person and I work evenings. But keep in touch, okay? :)
