This is the fourteenth story in the Rewriting History series, and it follows Drowning in Blissful Confusion. There is implied sex here, but nothing graphic, hence the R rating. I still didn't get to the actual pinning of Curt, well, some might say I did, but heh, not that way... So I am going to write still another story set during their holiday together. (Yeah, like that was such a hardship, too. :lol )

Warnings: m/m, angst, AU, occasional bad language. No spoilers for the movie.

Thanks to Mali for the beta. :)

Kiss Me Like The Ocean Breeze

By Silk

"Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps, please."

Brian's shirt clung to his damp skin, but the weather was warm enough that it would dry soon. His hair stood up in spiky tufts that were somehow endearing despite their resemblance to the wig Brian wore as Maxwell Demon.

Curt's eyeliner had all but disappeared, but he didn't mind. His clear-eyed gray gaze was fixed intently on his lover. "Wow. What a sport. You're actually going to feed me?"

Brian's tongue crept between his teeth as he contemplated a disheveled Curt in ruined leather pants. "I might even spring for some new clothes," he said blithely.

Curt's good humor faded. "Why? You ashamed of me? You got me this way."

Brian clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth. "Tsk, tsk...oh, Curt, what am I going to do with you? Here I am getting all hot and bothered at the thought of peeling you out of those pants and you're chastising me for-mmph!"

Curt stepped between Brian's legs and kissed him thoroughly, his hands framing that beautiful face that he loved. Given the fact that they had made love so recently and so unreservedly, neither one of them should have been capable of rising to the occasion again so quickly. But Curt felt Brian grow hard, and he ground his hips against his lover's sodden jeans, the friction more than enough to arouse both of them.

Brian gave a short, husky laugh and gently pushed Curt away. "It's a good thing the service is so slow. Otherwise, I might have spilled beer all over you."

Suddenly, in one of those inexplicable mood swings he was subject to, Curt smiled. "I can think of something else I'd like you to spill all over me," he said thickly.

Brian stared at him, his eyes at once hot and soft. "Bad boy," Brian whispered. But desire surged between the two lovers like a physical entity, taking its shape from what was unspoken in their hearts and souls.

"Kiss me like the ocean breeze..." Curt murmured.

"That's beautiful. You should use it in a song."

"Maybe I will. Someday."

"What are you waiting on?"

"You." Curt chuckled, and the sound of that spectacularly dark noise made Brian shudder. "If I don't get something to eat soon...I might just fade away."

"Can't have that."

"You want to get out of these wet clothes?"

"I thought you wanted to eat."

"I do, babe. But out here is way too public for what I want to do to you." Curt at his most seductive was irresistible to Brian, and he knew it.

"But I already ordered the beer and crisps," Brian said with a meaningful look. "What a waste of money."

"You can afford it."

"Curt!" Brian pouted, and Curt captured his pretty mouth with a fervent kiss that stole his breath away.

When they broke away finally, Brian's lips looked appealingly swollen. Curt rubbed his thumb over Brian's bottom lip, and Brian gasped. His skin was utterly sensitized now to his lover's slightest touch.

"We can always eat later," Brian whispered.

"Yeah," Curt agreed, the heat in his eyes melting Brian's insides until he was sure he would swoon.

In a stunning turn of events, now it was Brian who yearned to be possessed. He tore at Curt's clothing, stripping his lover with an urgency that Brian rarely felt, much less allowed to surface.

"Bri-an..." Curt would have been amused, but the anguished expression on Brian's face was genuine.

"I want you."

"I know, Bri."

"I need you, Curt," Brian all but wailed.

"You've got me. I'm right here, babe."

"Inside me. Please." Brian tugged ineffectually at his own clothing, tears of frustration blurring his vision. "Now."

Curt had never seen Brian reveal so much of himself before, but he wouldn't dream of taking advantage. On the contrary, he felt the oddest urge to take care of Brian. He alone could give Brian what he needed.

His rough, calloused fingers made quick work of undressing Brian. Brian sank to the level of the mattress on one knee, his hands tangled in Curt's hair. "You're going to have to let go of me for a minute, babe. Okay?"

Brian shook his head mutely.

Unable to convince Brian to relinquish his grip on his hair, Curt gave in to the inevitable and pushed Brian onto his back. Brian closed his eyes as Curt began kissing his face and neck. Curt could feel the unnatural tension in Brian's body, and he wasn't surprised to see a tear squeeze out from under his tightly shut eyelids.

Where Brian was cold, Curt was warm. Slowly but surely, Curt felt Brian give way to the tender assault he launched on his lover. When Brian finally relented with an intense shudder, Curt made his way back up his body and kissed him. "I love you. Now relax."

"I'm trying."

"Try harder."

"You're so bossy when I let you top."

"Let me? You beg so prettily, baby."

Brian groaned and turned his head away, but Curt found his mouth with unerring accuracy. A crack of thunder startled both of them, and they stared at the window as a torrential rain beat against the pane.

"Guess we'll have to stay in after all."

"Yeah."

"Think we can find something to do?"

To Curt's amazement, Brian blushed. "Wow, I didn't know you knew how to do that."

"You inspire me."

"Hey, the only thing I inspire is fear. Or loathing. Or once in a while, on a good day, maybe a little lust."

"Or love," Brian whispered, unable to meet Curt's eyes.

Curt picked up Brian's hand and turned it palm side up. He never took his eyes off Brian's face when he pressed an ardent kiss to the center of his palm. Brian was a consummate actor, and he had been forced to play many a role in his young life. But nothing, and no one, had prepared him for being courted by Curt Wild.

"You're the best thing that ever happened to me, babe." Curt's voice sounded rusty, its tobacco-and-whiskey flavored nuances strange and bittersweet music to Brian's heart.

"I wish I could tell you how much you mean to me, Curt," Brian murmured, the right words struggling to escape the place where Brian kept them imprisoned.

"You tell me you love me, Bri. That's enough."

"Not nearly."

Brian's eyes darkened. "Fuck me."

"I did."

"Again. I need to feel you...filling up my empty places."

"They're not empty anymore, baby. Not as long as I'm with you."

'Then stay with me. Stay inside me."

"I don't want to hurt you, Brian."

"Please. You won't hurt me. You can't. Unless you leave me." Brian's quiet desperation got to Curt in a way that shouting couldn't.

Curt was sure that his weight must be making Brian feel uncomfortable by now, but if anything, his continued presence seemed to reassure Brian. Brian sighed contentedly and fisted Curt's hair, albeit a bit more gently than he had done earlier.

Curt wrapped his arms around Brian and buried his face in the hollow of his neck. He was never going to leave Brian. Not willingly.
