Thank you, Hansi. :) I've given this so much thought, I sometimes wonder if I think about anything else. Heh. I've also concluded that even when they get back to what passes for real life amongst the glitterati, they may have a few happy moments *before* the break-up. This way, I can add a couple of bumpy moments that lead to the inevitable split. (I refuse to believe that the fight happened without *any* prior provocation. That's just not credible, even if it *did* happen that way in canon. Shoot me if you will, but that's what I think.) And whatever causes the break-up, it has to be *significant*. If it isn't, it just makes their relationship look like it wasn't worth the time and effort they put into it. (As you can tell, this is one of my favorite topics of conversation, and yes, I *am* almost finished with the next part, but I seem to be procrastinating again. :lol )
