*** I love how you've got this and the Jack narrative going, and they play off each other. And I always loved Arthur. Gotta love Arthur and his badly made-up face!***

Thanks, DAA. Since Jack's tales are post-RH, I wanted his relationship with Arthur to become part of RH canon. I'm glad that's working. There is something so earnest and sincere about Arthur. Even his badly made-up face. I'm so glad that someone else thinks so, too.

I mean, I like Arthur, but he really needs some expert handling when it comes to the whole cosmetic thing. Seems like Jack can give him the benefit of his vast, um, experience. (In more ways than one, apparently. :evil )

It's almost as if he and Jack are polar opposites. Jack so fashionable, so articulate, so poised. Arthur so tongue-tied, so awkward, so ill at ease in his own skin. They really are going to be good for each other, I think.

***Silk, you continue to amaze me with your gift for colorful characterization -- and tender interaction between them!***

Thank you so much, DAA. That's quite a compliment coming from someone who writes like you. :)
