After praying for his sanity, I would be happy for his success and then go around telling everyone I told you so! I am already one of his ORIGINAL screaming, idolizing fans. I would just scream to myself and idolize him from afar, like I do now. I would never ever swear off him.
Success can change people, unfortunately. I think Johnny is level-headed enough not to let fame go to his head. But his life would change dramatically. One of the drawbacks of huge success is the media frenzy that surrounds you. Crazy photographers are hiding in trees, hanging out of helicopters and going thru your trash just to find out some information that they can use, and they usually want to use it to destroy you. If they can't find anything on you, then they will make something up. That kind of scrutiny changes people whether they want to or not. I admit I have an extremely pessimistic view of the whole fame thing! Some people can handle it pretty well. Whether you like them or not, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston seem to be able to stay above it so far. (I admit I do like Brad Pitt!)
